Ex. Chef Domenico Maggi will be the President of the jury of the 1st Mediterranean Competition for Chefs & Pastry Chefs. He is the WORLDCHEFS’ South Europe Continental Director, A level judge and given his expertise he will ensure the competition’s steady flow, equal behavior towards all contestants and unimpeachable competition results.
Fikret Ozdemir, comes from Turkey and is the founder and president of the Cooks and Gastronomy Association. With working experience as an executive chef at many Mediterranean countries and participation as a WORLDCHEFS judge in many competitions, he comes to unite all contestants.
Chef Muhammad Afzal, comes from Pakistan. He is a WORLDCHEFS level b judge and member of the Emirates Culinary Guild and also the British Culinary Federation. He is an international certified chef and certified professor. President of the Karachi institute of culinary arts, a WORLDCHEFS approved school.
Ex. Chef George Damianou is the president of the Cyprus Chefs Association and a WORLDCHEFS certified A judge for culinary and pastry competitions.
Mr Damianoy had himself participated in many international culinary competitions and has been a judge for many years at the biggest competitions in Europe. Also, he had been the director of Cyprus’ National Teams
Petros Gavriel is a A level Worldchefs judge. He has participated in numerous culinary competitions in Cyprus, Malta, UK, Austria, Luxemburg and Germany and has won many medals.
He has been among the jury members in the 2012 Global Chef’s Challenge in Slovenia and also a jury member in the Culinary World Cup 2014 & 2018 in Luxemburg
